Well 2016, you're almost over and I have officially completed my first calendar year of blogging. And, I'm amazed that I still have stuff to say.
Honestly, when starting a blog, I was a bit worried I would run out of things to talk about, but there are always new tips I can't wait to share. New things crop up each day, that I can't wait to tell you about. I hope you'll continue to join me in 2017, where we can continue to fight waste together. I looked back over my 2015 recap and I'm pretty proud of accomplishing most of the goals I set.
2016 goals:
Well, the eBook has morphed into a different project, but I am still working on it. I'm excited to announce that early next year. I did revamp my newsletter and start a YouTube channel. Although, I'm pretty horrible at remembering to update it.
I'm most proud of the crash course I made with Be Zero Waste Girl! It's also one of the top performing pages on my site. This makes me so happy; because I want to help as many people as possible get started reducing their waste!
If going zero waste is your new year resolution, please check out the 30 day challenge. It will help jump start your journey.
2016 reflections:
2016 was all about ditching perfection and getting out of my comfort zone. I made a lot of great memories in 2016. Some of my favorites were:
- Speaking at the Zero Waste Youth Convergence
- Doing some kickass Interviews with LUSH, The Guardian, and Yogoanonymous by one of my best friends
- Getting engaged
- Being a part of a commercial for Brush with Bamboo
- Going camping
It was my first time going camping and I loved it!
2016 popular posts:
Some of my most popular posts from 2016 are below. You guys seem to love DIY's the most. I'll try and keep those coming in the new year. If you have any requests, I would love to hear them down below.
2017 intentions:
In 2017 I want to focus on simplicity. I want to simplify and streamline. I want to continue to get out of my comfort zone and get more involved. I want to take more pictures and make more memories. 2016 felt very much like a foundation year. 2017 is the year I get to start building.
What are you looking forward to in 2017?
